100 Days!

So much has been going on at work I almost missed the huge milestone in the Wedding Countdown!
We are now officially at

100 DAYS

(and in about 2 hours, 99)  EEEKKKKK!!!

I can't believe how quickly this time is going, but then sometimes I feel like September 22, 2012 will NEVER EVER get here.

Thanks to TheKnot.com for helping me keep track.  But thanks for nothing because you didn't fill me in on how HARD shopping for the perfect Bridal Shower dress would be.  First of all, it's hard enough feeling fat in everything, but second of all, how can you possibly make the right choice among all the options?

Needless to say, here is what I picked I hope it's not too flashy for the setting.  I'm still getting used to the idea that as the bride I can do anything I want to.

(On a side note, feeling fat didn't prevent me from getting a double cheeseburger and medium french fry for dinner tonight.  But really, it's not really anything a solid set of spanx can't camouflage.)

Good thing my 18 week PowerBar marathon training starts Monday.  By the time the wedding rolls around I hope to be eating better and look more lean so I'm not so self conscious about my arms not being toned in the wedding photos.  I'll never be Kate Middleton, but a girl can dream can't she?

With the craziness that's been happening lately (i.e. RunningtoKeepUp), I completely forgot about the Inaugural Canton Marathon this weekend.  I'll be running surviving the half marathon.  I'm already thankful they have water stations at every mile.  Talk about a life saver.

My training has been virtually non existent recently so I'm not anticipating an awesome time for myself, but it just keeps me motivated to really follow the marathon training I have laid out for Columbus Marathon preparation.

This Saturday also marks my first dress fitting!  Let's hope I can still fit in it and that all the alterations needed are the hem and bustle (sp?).

Go OKC Thunder!

Bandwagon Jumping

With the best of intentions to head to bed about an hour ago...Ending in another failed attempt (of course) I thought,
"What better way to waste productive sleeping time then create a blog?"

Jumping the blogger bandwagon is something I've thought about starting for a while now. Not because I think I'm interesting enough anyone would actually want to spend the time to read what I have to say, but because between now and October 25, 2012, major life occurances will be happening and I want to document.

Disclaimer: I've never kept a written journal longer than a day so we'll see how this goes.

As I mentioned, there are some pretty exciting things happening between now and October 25.
The site of our future new home.

Sept. 22, 2012: Becoming Mrs. Connor Nathanson
Sept. 29 - Oct. 6, 2012: Honeymoon!
Oct. 21, 2012: Crossing the finish line of my second Full Marathon
Oct. 25, 2012: Moving into our new home

Me and my future husband!  102 days and counting!

I love keeping busy, and what more could I ask for than wedding planning, marathon training and keeping track of a new house being built all at the same time?

Craziness will ensue for sure, and I can't wait to see what happens next.
